When I saw the Swirly decorative strip die (PN 113456), I thought I had to have it. It just looked so girly. I envisioned it adorning the boarders of my daughters girly scrapbook pages. To get you thinking about the many ways that this die can be used, three examples of it are shown in todays addition of Saturdays with Sizzix.
This first idea is a scrapbook boarder. The twist on this is the it uses the negative die cut image. Instead of the swirly strip, the remnants of the die cut were used to accent the boarder.
In this next example, the die cut is used to accent a card front. Each card used half of a die cut.
This next example is a scrapbook page. Do you recognize it? It uses this weeks Blue Prints Scrap book Page layout. The Swirly die cut was cut in half and laid out as shown below.
I hope this addition gets you thinking about the swirly die. Remember that you will need the extended spacer platform (PN 113477) and Decorative Strip Cutting Pads (PN 113479) to go with the Swirly die for use in your Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (PN 113439).
